The world itself is controlled by this group called the deities, and they like to mess with the people they keep here with these curses...

They're not all bad, and they're not everyday, but they're still a way to play with us. It's not really fair.

Plus, there's something...really, really off about the city. But I can't figure out exactly what yet.

It's part of the offness of the city. There's no way to leave. People have tried, but they've never succeeded...anybody who leaves here doesn't leave on their own terms. They just get taken away when the city decides they need to leave.

Sometimes they come back, but they can't remember anything...
