♔ day 27 ♔

That curse the other day, with people's heads getting cut off and then just walking around like nothing happened—is that what happens here when people are destroyed? I didn't think anything was supposed to be left behind, but everything was left behind.

I don't think it's bad, but it's strange...I don't know.

[sigh]

Hey, Hanna, I found a store with a lot of ice cream flavors. I bet there's one you haven't had yet.

You got any examples of the extreme quantities of flavors you've discovered?

Yeah, it is really weird here...I don't even think dying works like normal...since I don't think people stay dead.

Buuut I don't think that your head will come to life after being chopped off unless its a curse.

Moose tracks. But I don't think there's any moose in it.

That's what they said. I thought maybe the head thing was related to that.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
Oooooh, I haven't had moose tracks in years! And it's always different from place to place!
No, there is no moose in it. I'm not quite sure why its called moose tracks, to be honest, but hey, it works.

Yeah, it was all curse based...I don't wanna see anybody try that sorta stuff when it's pseudo-normal here...

[identity profile] binarysky.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think moose ice cream would be very good anyway.

Yeah...I've never seen anyone die before, but before I came here, we lost some of our comrades, and Xigbar said there wasn't anything left behind.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think any kind of meat in ice cream would be good.

Well...sometimes, depending on how somebody dies, there isn't anything left...and...I guess that even if there's a body, there still isn't anything left. Because it's just a body, and...the person who it used to be is gone and nothing can change that...no matter how hard you try.

[Somebody is delving into territory far too personal now.]

...Sorry, what was I saying?

[identity profile] binarysky.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
Probably not.

Um... [It's cool, bro.] There wasn't anything left, I think. There's not supposed to be.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
...maybe that's for the best, then.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Sometimes it's better if there isn't anything left...

[Because there can be so many things that go wrong if there are...]

But I guess I wouldn't have met Gallahad if he'd turned into nothing after he died!

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-06 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
...Oh, yeah...he left before you got here. Gallahad is from my world, he's my best friend, partner in crime, roommate...

He's a zombie.

I miss him.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Yep!

But he doesn't eat brains.

[identity profile] binarysky.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
My friend used to say I was like a zombie.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Well...Gallahad sometimes has a hard time expressing emotions, even though I know he feels them.

Maybe you're the same way sometimes.

[identity profile] binarysky.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
He was right. I really was a zombie back then. I could hardly even talk.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
Really?

Well, I'm glad you can talk now...you're a lot of fun to talk to.

[identity profile] binarysky.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I could, then, it was just...hard.

Thanks.

[identity profile] manofgnee.livejournal.com 2010-09-07 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
You were still getting used to stuff, so it's sort of understandable...
