Hamsters are unobtrusive, right? They didn't make a lot of noise in the store. I guess they'll be okay.

[Attached: 1 jpg image of a pile of very badly folded origami...things next to a small cage of hamsters. They might possibly be cranes. Are they terrible because he is cursed with bad luck or because of natural lack of skill? It is a mystery.]

I don't think I'm doing this right.

[And Hanna is off! He takes a bit longer than he normally would, having to pick up ice cream as well as falling over his feet, stairs, rocks...but he shows up, bruised but grinning, holding a small tub of ice cream and 2 spoons.]

Hi! Sorry I'm late...bad luck today, I kept tripping over everything, and somebody tried to rob me. But anyway, I brought a surprise! Ice cream!

[Roxas looked up and waved, a half-finished crane in one hand.]

People are having a lot of trouble today. Everyone keeps complaining on the network thing.

[O hai, surprised now.] Ice cream? ...it comes in a bucket?

[Hanna shrugged and smiled a bit, sitting next to Roxas.]

Yeep, today's a crazy curse day...but hey, that looks great so far!!

[He nods, opening the ice cream.]

Yep! It's strawberry, try it!

Oh, right...those curses. I read the guide.

[He's very interested in this ice cream, even if it's not the same or as special as the kind he's used to. Cautiously, he dips a spoon in and takes a bite.]

Hey...it's really good! Really sweet, too.

Yeah...is this your first one?

[Hanna beams and nods happily.]

Glad you like it! Strawberry is some of my favorite ice cream...I know that you and your friends have special ice cream traditions, but I thought that you might like to try other flavors until you get a chance to carry on your tradition again.

I don't know if this is because of the curse. I think I might just be bad at paper cranes.

[Moar ice cream plz.]

Well...I guess it's okay. It's kind of weird without salt. But tasty.

Well, origami is sort of hard to pick up at first...you'll get it, though!! You're on the right track, because they definitely look like cranes!!

[Hanna hands Roxas the whole carton of ice cream, stealing a bite or two first.]

Well, you want a more unique flavor? Like I said, try pistachio. It's sweet, but not too sweet!

That's good. I don't know if the wish thing really works, but I should try it if I can.

[Hey, bro, he can share.]

I don't know...I never thought much about flavors before. Sea-salt was always good enough. How many flavors are there?

Well, who knows! Maybe the folding is just a way to pass time until your wish ccomes true! And besides, its fun!

[Hanna grins a bit, nodding before stealing another bite of ice cream.]

Well, there's lots of kinds of ice cream out there! ANd its not always in tubs or bars, either. There's all sorts of cool treats! But you eat the one that makes you feel the happiest, or the one you feel works best in happy times, like your sea salt!

Maybe...I don't know how people deal with all this free time.

How come they need so many kinds?

Well, so people can choose! Liiike...say you tried one flavor, but didn't like it. You had the choice of another flavor! Variety is awesome like that.

[He grins and noms.]

Don't worry, you'll figure it out. Sometimes just hanging around and doing nothing is good.

This is only the second kind I've had. I don't know if there are any I don't like.

But...how is it good?

Well, that just means you gotta try more, right?

[Hanna shrugs and smiles.]

Well...free time, think about it. You can do whatever you feel like doing! Ice cream, tv, video games, hanging out outside, seeing friends...nothing with a strict plan or beginning or end. Just doing what makes you happy! Or just sitting outside and watching the clouds...that's why doing nothing can be good!!

I guess so.

[He looks unconvinced.] I just like having ice cream with my friends.

You ever tried doing anything else sort of like that?

[He grins a bit.]

Because maybe now is the time to try!

No, not really.

But my boss is still here. He'll give me things to do.

Well, like I said, give it a try...do something new or exciting! Go to the beach, or something like that. Eat new flavors of ice cream! Maybe write letters to your friends so that when they get here, they'll know all the neat stuff you've been doing!!

[Oh. Well, that's sort of a downer. He frowns a bit, slumping, moving to eat some more ice cream.]

Oh. Well...hm. I guess he'll keep you sort of occupied...but still, he can't make you work 24/7. So you can have fun when he's not making you work!!

There's a beach? The beach sounds cool.

[He's just not good at time off.]

Maybe. I don't know.

The beach is really nice!

Hmm...you're new to this time off thing, huh? Well...I guess I'll have to show you the ropes!

[Hanna laughs. Oh, he likes you, Roxas.]

Not actual ropes. It's an expression, it means that I'll show you how to make the most of time off, give you examples of things to do, stuff like that!
