The heart isn't something one feels...it is something one has. And even if a "heart," in your world, is something else, for the purposes of being real, feeling real...if you care about these memories, if they evoke anything within you, then that is what matters.
Even if you don't -- that doesn't mean you aren't real, or that you can't feel anything. Perhaps your world works in a strange way, but you still don't seem like a "heartless" person in the usual sense.
