It's sort of like...an echo. Because Nobodies can remember what it was like to be able to feel. [Not that he has memories, but whatever.]

I don't know...I never thought about it before. But—I can kind of remember when I didn't know what laughing was.

Yeah. All the time. But this place is different because I didn't mean to come here, and now I can't leave. And I was never anywhere with curses before.
