Sometimes when I can't figure a problem out, I'll write about in a letter or a journal. It doesn't really matter. The act of putting it on paper allows you to examine it in a different way.
Emotions don't reside in the heart. It's simply a pump for a circulatory system. They're more centered in the brain and involve various chemicals, experiences and memories.
Unless you mean that you literally don't have a heart? In which case, do you lack an entire circulatory system? Or is blood pumped through your body via another means?
